Vanessa has been teaching voice and music for over 25 years both in the UK and locally in San Diego. The high pedigree of her London training, under the most highly acclaimed industry professionals, combined with 20+ years of nurturing artists of all ages and her own experiences on the professional stages of the UK and Southern California render her one of the most in-demand coaches in San Diego. She doesn't rely on gimmicks or subscribe to just one "theory" of teaching, but tailors her knowledge and experience to best match each individual student!

Each student is an individual with their own unique instrument. Vanessa's super power is in identifying the specific needs of each student to help them grow as an artist and as a musician, and to get the very best out of the instrument they have, staying true to their own natural voice.
For cello students, Vanessa works to match each student's most effective learning style, to ensure they progress in a way that best suits them. And she gets results!
Vanessa works with each student to help identify and attain their own personal goals, whether it is hitting that high (or low) note, being brave enough to sing or speak in public, making it into the school show, or seeking successful professional careers.
ALUMNI
Former students have gone on to work in London's West End, international opera houses, major regional theatres and national tours, on popular TV shows and Hollywood movies. Students have earned places at the best conservatories and universities and have won major vocal and theatre competitions.
